We have a cheer today for Impossible Foods, who partnered with vegan-owned-and-operated Diatribe Brewing in Asheville. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Diatribe announced that Impossible had donated 9,000 burgers, that the burgers would be free, and would be served until they ran out.

In addition to the burgers donated by Impossible, Diatribe has been donating $1 from every beer sale to various Hurricane-related causes.

Amid such dark and uncertain times for Ashevillians, it’s refreshing to see some hope, especially served up in plant-based form.
