“Our federal government has been managing wild horses to extinction. ” Priscilla Feral, President of FoA
Thank you to the Humane Farming Association for this video which includes our message about the plight of our country’s wild horses. Although difficult to watch at times, we’re sharing this video because we believe it’s so important to show the truth about the exploitation America’s wild horses are forced to endure.
We are continuing our work to represent wild horses by participating in the upcoming BLM Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board meeting which will take place in Redmond, Oregon, on April 13th, 2016. We will be sharing comments that expose the BLM for the crimes it has committed against America’s mustangs. For more information about how we are fighting to protect wild horses and to see an update on our recent lawsuit to halt wild horse roundups taking place in Colorado, click here. You can also follow us at Friends of Wild Horses for more frequent action alerts and updates!
The meeting will take place at the Deschutes Fair & Expo, 3800 SW Airport Way, Redmond, OR 97756. Members of the public may address the board from 3:15 to 4:45pm on April 13, although they must register in person by 3 p.m. that day.
For those unable to attend, we are urging you to submit your own written comments for the hearing. Comments can be sent to: National Wild Horse and Burro Program, WO-260, Attention: Ramona DeLorme, 1340 Financial Blvd., Reno, Nevada, 89502-7147 or they can be emailed to whbadvisoryboard@blm.gov, with “Advisory Board Comment” in the subject line.
