Good news! The “Dining With Dogs” bill that Friends of Animals has long advocated for has been delivered to the desk of Governor Andrew Cuomo. He now has eight days to sign it into law! This bill lets dogs on restaurant patios at proprietor’s discretion. It’s the now the law in California and is a huge hit and it’s been passed in both the NY State Assembly and Senate and is very close to becoming law. If it passes in NY, it has the potential to sweep the nation!
Watch the JaneUnChained video news report below which features our Campaigns Director, Edita Birnkrant, at a press conference in Albany supporting the bill, to learn more about this legislation and then call or email the New York Governor using the contact information below and ask him to please sign the bill (Assembly Bill) # A5956C and (Senate Bill) # S4327A into law.
