Green Beans with Almonds

Serves 4


1 pound green beans, trimmed

1 tablespoon vegan butter

¼ to ½ cup sliced almonds

Sea salt

Preparation: Cook beans in lightly salted boiling water about 3 minutes, until barely tender. Meanwhile, heat the vegan butter over medium-low heat and add the almonds; cook, stirring, until barely browned. Drain the beans and mix with the almonds and butter. Salt to taste.
