Be a Friend of Animals: Invest in Our Advocacy

Send Your Gift Today

From stopping the aerial gunning of wolves in Alaska, to providing sanctuary for orphan chimpanzees in Africa, to spaying and neutering 40,000 dogs and cats each year, we at Friends of Animals depend on the generosity and kindness of our donors to do the most good we can. We can’t do it without your investment in our vision.

For your convenience, a reply envelope is inserted inside ActionLine. We will put your gift to work immediately.

Use Your Credit or Debit Card to Become a Monthly Donor

A monthly gift, automatically processed by using your Visa or MasterCard (whether by credit or debit), is fast becoming one of the most preferred and convenient methods of donation. It’s convenient, paperless, and as safe as postal donations; and you can choose a gift in any amount that fits your budget (minimum $5.00), adjust the amount as your situation changes, or stop your gift any time you wish. Monthly donations provide a stable and reliable flow of gifts so Friends of Animals’ projects are consistently funded throughout the year.

To sign up for our monthly giving program, please call our office at 203-656-1522. And thanks so much for considering this important form of support.

Include Animal Advocacy in Your Will

A person does not need to have a large estate to plan and prepare a will; anyone who owns property should prepare one and keep it in a known location. Married spouses should each have a will.

While supplies last, Friends of Animals has two free brochures that can help you when making estate decisions: How to Make a Will that Works, and 37 Things People ‘Know’ About Wills That Aren’t Really So. Just send us a note or call our office (203-656-1522), and we’ll send them to you the same day.

The animals put in peril by our own burgeoning growth will need our help for some time to come. Here’s Friends of Animals’ commitment: We’re here as long as the other animals of the world need us. You can be sure that your good wishes for animals will make a difference beyond your own lifetime by including Friends of Animals in your estate plans. You, or your attorney, will need our tax ID number (13-6018549) and our street address ( 777 Post Road, Suite 205, Darien, Connecticut 06820).

Online Gifts Make Investing in Our Work Simple

Those of you who want the convenience of making a gift online may visit www.friendsofanimals.org, click the “Donate” button on the home page, then follow the prompts. Your donation is certified by Digicert to be safe and secure.

Workplace GivingCan Include Animal Advocacy

Friends of Animals, Inc. is approved by the Combined Federal Campaign. Run by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, it permits government employees to pledge support for non-profit organizations.

In the United States, we also qualify for many state, local and corporate giving campaigns.  Employees may sign up for pledges through their payroll departments to have gifts deducted from their pay and sent to Friends of Animals. Some private employers will even match your gift. If we are not included on your employer’s list of approved charities, please let us know. We will be happy to complete any required forms or reports.

Internationally, if you work for a branch of a U.S. company, the same rules usually apply. If you live and work for a company based in another country, ask your payroll department if they have a charitable giving program and if they need any information from Friends of Animals to qualify.

Memorials and Tributes in the Name of Special Individuals Help Other Animals.

Gifts of $25 or more are gratefully accepted to celebrate the life of someone special -- human or nonhuman. You can also celebrate an anniversary or other significant event. When appropriate, Friends of Animals will send a letter on your behalf that acknowledges your gift. Memorial tributes always appear in each issue of ActionLine.

Shop for Merchandise and Declare Your Support.

The last pages of ActionLine offer a variety of useful and inspiring books, brochures, t-shirts, buttons, stickers, hats and more. All merchandise sales help support the work of Friends of Animals.

Whichever way you choose to help, your gift will be put to work helping animals all over the world to live on their terms. Thank you so much for caring and investing in our shared mission.
